Canam Group in Brasov began as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterward became a major company on the Brasov market with its own building and more than 400 employees.
Our team in Brasov provides 3D modeling, detailing and estimation services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the United States and for other North American steel fabricators.
We also have our own IT team developing software for internal use.
Complete 3D models of construction elements as per the structural and architectural plans and design shop drawings/details and erection layouts using 3D and 2D software while ensuring project criteria is met and consistent with client requirements, corporate mission and values.
Essential Functions
- Gather, examine and interpret information from project documents
- Complete 3D models of building elements as per contract drawings
- Connect structural elements as per contract drawings and engineering specifications
- Report discrepancies and missing information on the contract documents
- Detect possible interferences between structural and architectural building parts
- Complete 2D shop drawings of construction elements generated from 3D models
- Complete 2D erection layouts generated from 3D models
- Generate material lists as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers
