The Department of Medicine at Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University seeks candidates who are ABIM certi! fied/eligible in Internal Medicine for a full-time academic clinician faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Clinical duties will include primarily (60-70%) inpatient Internal Medicine attending in a combination of teaching and non-teaching services at our Johnson City Mountain States Medical Center. Teaching responsibilities will focus on junior medical students and residents.
Approximately 10-20% of time will be spent in a defined ambulatory role, with 20% non-clinical, salaried time for productive scholarship and mentoring of resident and student projects. A generous guarantee on clinical income will be provided during the practice-building stage.
