Hospital Description:
The medical center is a 118-bed acute-care facility that serves 3 Counties. A sophisticated medical technology is a hallmark of the hospital. It offers a state-of-the-art 1.5T MRI Scanner, a 64 slice GE Lightspeed CT Scanner, two ultrasound systems, nuclear medicine, PET/CT and complete x-ray imaging. An in-house Lithotripter (used for the removal of kidney stones) enables patients to receive immediate treatment. The facility also offers a full spectrum of surgical services.
Job Description:
Hospital employed Internal Medicine opportunity only 45 minutes from Knoxville and 45 minutes to Chattanooga. Call coverage will be 1:5 sharing space with one other well-established Internist. Hospitalist on staff to cover unassigned patients. Nominal inpatient care required (typically one or two patients a day), while covering your own patients in five bed ICU.
