The Department of Medicine at East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine seeks a BC/BE (at time of hire) general internist to serve as a full-time clinici! an educator faculty member at their Kingsport, Tennessee academic practice and co-director of the core internal medicine clerkship at QCOM. Academic rank will be consistent with record and experience. Responsibilities include 25% time-effort co-directing the clerkship, and 75% time-effort teaching internal medicine residents and medical students in ambulatory and in-patient community hospital settings. Scholarship is encouraged and supported in this educational leadership position.

Minimum Qualifications:
M.D. or equivalent, Assistant or Associate Professor level with active ABIM certification. Candidates must have an established record of personal scholarship and successful mentoring of junior faculty.
