Treatment plan recommendation and review
Expert opinion in ! related medical board action
Provide preoperative and postoperative care
Work collaboratively with facility Primary Care team
Provide immediate evaluation and management conditions as they occur in addition to regularly scheduled appointments
Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations (to include fitness reports, progress notes, Periodic Health Assessments, referrals, and consults, etc.)
Participate collaboratively with higher facility and professional committees, as required
Provide instruction to clinic staff on an ad hoc basis and periodic basis
Liaison and report to higher facility as required for patient's continuum of care
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education: Diploma from an accredited school of medicine
Current board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Minimum of two (2) years rece! nt clinical experience (immediately preceding the submission o! f this offer)
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine within Tennessee state
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certification
Current BLS by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or ACEP Certification
Physically capable of performing all Primary Care Physician services with reasonable accommodation
